VOTING RIGHTS

YES - You can register to vote and vote at the same time.

Just bring
a ID (name and photo), and proof of address (something with name and address from last 30 days).


YES - you can vote if you are homeless.
Those who are homeless may register to vote using an address where they are able to receive mail, like Daily Bread Soup kitchen or STRIDES.


YES - You can vote with a criminal record in Illinois.

If you are denied the right to vote for any reason, ask for a provisional ballot.
Make sure you ask the polling official what you need to do after voting to make sure your vote counts.
